Fitness Programs
Fitness programs and classes resume on Feb. 1st, 2021 on the schedule below:
All Fitness Classes & Pickleball are at D.W. Wilson Community Center unless stated otherwise.
Land-based classes will be held in the gym until further notice.
Studio Classes
Prior to starting any exercise program, consult with your physician.
Cardio Sculpt
Friday 5:00pm-6:00pm
Cardio Sculpt is a total body workout, incorporating traditional and resistance exercises, designed to maximize fat burning while toning using short bursts of high impact interval training, followed by resistance training.
Latin Fusion Dance
Monday, Wednesday & Friday:
9:00am-10:00am
This class is tailored to active older adults who are looking for a easy to follow choreographed dance class at a lower-intensity.
Cardio Kickboxing
Tuesday
5:00pm-6:00pm
Cardio Kickboxing combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. Cardio kickboxing does not involve physical contact between competitors.
Silver Sneakers Classic
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10:00am- 11:00am
This fun class incorporates a variety of exercises de- signed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, balance skills.
T & T (Tabata & Toning)
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
8:00am-9:00am
Low Impact Tabata & Toning class with cardio burst interspersed with a total body strength workout for maximum fitness results. All fitness levels.
Wacky Wednesday
Wednesday - 5:00pm-6:00pm
HIT (High Interval Training) Inspired workout. Instructors choice, varies weekly.
Yoga 101
Tuesday & Thursday:
9:05am-10:05am
Caters to beginning students and focuses on alignment and the basics. You'll be surrounded by both brand new and returning practitioners as well as more advanced yogis who want to work on beginning poses.
Gentle Yoga
This class is on a temporary hold during Covid-19
The slower pace of this gentle class makes it a great choice if you want a less strenuous approach to your practice. This extremely accessible class is perfect for anyone looking to develop a practice of conscious, mindful movement with some support .

Water shoes are highly recommended for all the shallow water exercise classes*

Lap Swim (Self-Guided)
Monday to Thursday: 6am-9:50am, 12:10pm to 2pm, & 7pm to 8pm
Friday: 6am to 9:50am, & 12:10pm to 2pm
Saturday: 9am to 1:50pm
Sunday: 12pm to 1:50pm
Swimming for exercise or training purposes in a continuous manner from one end of the pool to the other.

Public Swim
Saturday: 2:00pm-4:00pm
Sunday: 2:00pm-4:00pm

Deep Water Exercise
Monday to Friday: 10:00am to 12:00pm, all self-guided
Cardio and muscle toning workout using an aqua jogger belt and/or water dumbbells in the 9’ to 12’ depth .

Forever Fit
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
10:00am-11:00am
A shallow water instructor led work- out for seniors and people with disabilities which focuses on joint mobility and mus- cle strength with increased cardio. Adaptable to various fitness level and ability.

Silver Sneakers Splash
Tuesday & Thursday
10:00am- 11:00am
A shallow water instructor led work- out for seniors and people with disabilities which focuses on joint mobility and muscle strength with increased cardio. Adaptable to various fitness level and ability.
Water Walking (Self-Guided)
Monday through Friday 11:00am-12pm, all self-guided
Perform different walking techniques in 3’6” to 5’ depth to improve strength, flexibly, and endurance.
