Holy Cow! Cubs Win!

The Cubs are the 2020 League Champs!

Grider Stadium, Tullahoma - August 25th - The Rockies watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-1 loss to Cubs on Tuesday for the 2020 Tullahoma Adult League Championship. The Cubs opened scoring on an error and a sacrifice fly by Tyler McBay in the second inning. The Rockies struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Cubs, giving up ten runs total.

The Cubs biggest inning saw five runs in the sixth, driven with singles by Jay Blackburn and McBay, a ground-out by Jacob Davidson, and a double by Trevor Sanders. McBay earned the victory on the hill for Cubs. He went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out four and walking one. Reed Emerson took the loss for Rockies. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and nine runs while striking out five and walking one. Emerson, Derek Bowles, and AJ Parker each managed one hit to lead Rockies. The Cubs scattered eight hits in the game. Blackburn and Austin Smith each managed multiple hits for the Cubs. Check out the game below:
